I have been an active resident of Galt since 1996 moving here with three generations of my family. I have two wonderful children, a daughter Lisa and son Nathan and four grandsons, two attending school in the Galt area, one in high school in the bay area and one serving in the U.S. military.
I have served on the Planning Commission for 8 years, most recently as chair, on the Architectural Review Board, most recently as chair, and the Measure R Oversight Committee as Vice Chair.
I work locally in Galt for South County Services since 2002 where one of my duties was to bring the non-profit group from bankruptcy into a solvent organization that was much needed by the people of Galt. Today, SCS is a recognized and respected resource that helps hundreds of local families in need. Prior to working for SCS, I was a District Director for a Sacramento City Councilmember.
With my history in politics and my professional experience serving the community, I understand how to leverage local and state resources to bring maximum benefit to the community.
My intentions for the City of Galt is to strengthen the local economy by bringing more jobs to local people and more revenue to the city; to ensure responsible growth by properly planned growth that will improve the quality of life in Galt and always work to guarantee funding and support for fire protection and law enforcement.
